Old Fashioned Chocolate Malted

This recipe is adapted from the Original Old Fashioned Malted that was invented by employee, Ivar "Pop" Coulson of Walgreen's Drugstore Soda Fountain in Chicago 1922. Share it with your best friend or partner using "2 straws".......

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. chocolate syrup
3 scoops vanilla ice cream
5 1/2 oz. cold milk
1 heaping tbsp. malted milk powder (plain, not chocolate)
Whipped Cream, for topping

Instructions:
Place all ingredients in blender (except whipped cream) and blend until smooth (do not over mix). Pour into a chilled tall glass and top with whipped cream. Serve with a straw or 2 straws for sharing. If desired, serve with vanilla cookies.

Makes 1 or 2 (if sharing) servings.
