Cranberry Crunch Squares

Servings: Makes 24 squares

Perfect for a fall dessert.

Ingredients:
1 cup uncooked oatmeal
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 (16 oz.) can cranberry sauce (Jellied or Whole Berry)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (1 stick/4 oz/113g) margarine or butter
Ice cream or Cool Whip

Instructions:
Mix together oatmeal, brown sugar and flour. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Pat 1/2 of the mixture in 8 x 8-inch pan. Cover with the cranberry sauce. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over top. Bake at 350 degrees F (180 C) for 45 minutes. Cut into 24 squares. Serve warm with ice cream or Cool Whip.

Makes 24 squares.
