You know how you are used to the root beer floats, and you have to take your spoon and get the ice cream; then get some root beer in your spoon just to enjoy it? Well not anymore!

Ingredients:
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
1 1/2 cups Root Beer soda, or 2-3 ounces Root Beer Syrup
8 oz. whole milk (optional)

You will need:
An electric blender

Instructions:
Place the vanilla ice cream in blender. Pour in 1 1/2 cups of root beer, or the root beer syrup (if using). If desired, you may also add 8 oz. milk (optional).

Blend mixture for 10-15 seconds. When done blending, pour into glass, and if desired, stir root beer shake (sometimes the fizz and ice cream floats to the top).

Makes approximately 1-2 servings.

a chip off the old block...really good. the kids loved it. blending ice with the root beer before adding in the ice-cream makes it a cooler treat in the dog days of summer!

Amazing. The conversion calculator was very helpful, and the shake was delicious. I think I added too much milk though. Very easy to make and tasty beverage.
