Comments: Try this warm fresh and healthy "cooked apples" dish as a companion to your meal, or as a light dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or spoon a little whipped cream on top....................Diana |

After I made it the 1st time, my family ate it up in 1 day. We're not far from apple orchards so I filled up my trunk w/25lbs of apples. I made this recipe so many times for family, friends and neighbors they now call me the HOT APPLE LADY. THIS IS SO EASY TO MAKE, FREEZES WELL THAT I MAKE IT IN SUMMER TOO. THE AROMA FILLS THE HOUSE THAT YOU WALK AROUND DROOLING.

This is especially tasty. I took the liberty of sprinking in some ginger with the cinnamon + nutmeg, and found it to be tasty, verily!

Just made this as a topping for pumpkin pancakes, and I'm still eating it as I type. Yum! Absolutely delicious, and incredibly easy . . . I just wish I could figure out a faster way to slice and peel the apples.

Very good. I made this as a dessert and topped it with ice cream while still hot. My family ate the whole pot in one night.

Delicious and easy! I bought an apple peeler that suctions to the counter and peels and slices so fast. I added a bit of Chinese Five Spice and it was a nice addition.
